Our next home was in Syracuse, NY. As usual we stopped in Washington, D.C. to visit our Great Aunt Gert. G.O. where her initials and we called her Aunt Gert a go-go. She was in the foreign service and in between overseas stations she always filled a brownstone in The District with goodies from her last region. I still have several!
